Responsible play

Free games should stay fun.

How to keep play in proportion, what the warning signs look like, and where to get help.

Keep it in proportion

  • Decide how long you'll play before you start. The session clock at the bottom of every page shows how long you've been here.
  • Take regular breaks away from the screen.
  • Don't use games to escape stress, worry or low mood.
  • Remember that coins have no value. Winning or losing them changes nothing in real life.
  • Free games don't teach you to win at real-money gambling.

Warning signs

It may be time to stop or talk to someone if you notice that you:

  • often play for longer than you meant to
  • think about the games a lot when you're not playing
  • feel irritable or low when you stop
  • are using free games to practise for real-money gambling
  • hide how much time you spend playing

Take a break

You can lock every game in this browser for 24 hours. Once it starts, it can't be undone early. For a longer break, or to close your account, write to us and we'll set it up.

No break is active.
